Role Overview
The Junior Digital Marketing Executive will join a growing marketing function and support the delivery of engaging digital and brand-led initiatives across multiple channels. Working closely with senior marketing personnel, the role will contribute to the planning and execution of campaigns, social media activity, digital advertising, and content development. The position also plays a key part in supporting the introduction and ongoing growth of a new lifestyle brand within the Business portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Scheduling: Assist in developing, preparing, and publishing content across social media platforms in line with brand direction and campaign objectives.
- Digital Campaign Support: Contribute to the rollout of online marketing campaigns across platforms such as Meta and Google Ads, as well as new and evolving AI-driven marketing tools.
- Website & Content Updates: Support the maintenance and updating of website content and assist with basic backend content management tasks.
- SEO & Digital Visibility: Assist in initiatives aimed at improving search performance, including SEO optimisation and emerging AI-based search visibility techniques.
- Brand Development: Collaborate on creative concepts and support the growth of a new lifestyle brand identity, including product and campaign rollouts.
- Marketing Coordination: Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to assist with the preparation of marketing materials and the coordination of product launches.
- Performance Monitoring: Track engagement metrics and support reporting on the effectiveness of digital campaigns and social media activity.
- Trend Awareness: Stay informed on developments in digital marketing, social media behaviour, and emerging technologies, particularly AI tools relevant to marketing.
Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
- Education: A qualification in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field is considered an advantage.
- Experience: Previous exposure to marketing, internships, or relevant practical experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.
- Communication Skills: Strong written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and messaging across digital platforms.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment and engage with multiple stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with social media platforms is desirable; exposure to tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, SEO tools, or digital advertising platforms is an advantage.
- Organisation: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-Motivated: Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn, develop new skills, and take initiative.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think creatively and contribute ideas to support marketing campaigns and brand development.
