
Eden Leisure Group
The Eden Leisure Group has been at the forefront of Hospitality and Entertainment in Malta since the early days of tourism 55 years ago. Starting with our first hotel, the Eden Rock in 1967, ELG moved its operations to St Georges’ Bay in 1980 and diversified into the entertainment sector with our first state-of-the-art discotheque. This was soon followed by other clubs, a bowling centre, a radio station, followed by Malta’s first multiplex cinema.
At its height, the Eden Cinemas boasted of 21 screens. In the nineties, we invested heavily in Malta’s largest 5 star hotel with 451 rooms and 46 apartments, Cynergi health and fitness club, an Imax theatre and a car park. A few years later we invested in the St. Georges’ Bay beach and opened the Paranga and Lubelli restaurants on the water’s edge as well as a lido.
We are always on the lookout for strategic partners; InterContinental Hotels Group was chosen to manage our flagship property in 2003. We worked with this world-famous hotel brand for two years prior to the opening to ensure that we offer a world-class property. What all our outlets have in common in terms of entertainment and hospitality is that they were always innovative and ahead of the curve.
Eden Esports was also launched in 2019, Malta’s largest video gaming and esports community, which hosts regular events from meetups to tier-1 pro events and LANs. The most recent project in 2022 was the gourmet pizzeria Lubelli which opened its doors this July, specialising in authentic Napoletana Pizza.

Marketing Executive
This is a role for someone who wants to own something. At Eden Leisure Group, our Marketing Executives don't just support campaigns, they take the lead on the brands entrusted to them, shaping how those brands look, sound, and feel across every platform.
From the big screen at Eden Cinemas to the energy of The Eden family entertainment centre, from the buzz of radio with the Bay Network to the wellness community at Cynergi, we have brands that challenge and inspire great marketing minds.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Brand Ownership
- Take full ownership of designated brands within the Group, acting as their internal marketing champion and driving their visibility, voice, and growth.
- Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints, from digital content to print collateral, and from events to in-venue communications.
Social Media & Content Creation
- Support our team by filming and editing engaging short-form video content, particularly reels, for Instagram and TikTok, with a sharp awareness of current trends and platform best practices.
- Develop a consistent and on-brand social media presence for your assigned brands, staying ahead of content formats.
- Lead on compelling content across all formats: video, photography, copywriting, print, digital, and beyond.
Campaigns & Promotions
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple media platforms, from concept through to performance analysis.
- Generate and pitch innovative ideas for campaigns, events, and promotions that cut through the noise.
- Monitor campaign performance, report on key metrics, and use data to continuously improve results.
Partnerships & PR
- Build and maintain strong media relationships, including drafting press releases, following up with journalists, and coordinating press activity.
- Support the identification and management of sponsorship opportunities and event partnerships.
Project & Budget Management
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, proactively meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
- Handle day-to-day administrative responsibilities including purchase orders, booking confirmations, budget tracking, and invoice processing.
- Coordinate with designers and external suppliers to bring creative assets to life on time and on brief.
Educational and skill requirements
- A genuine passion for social media, content creation, and storytelling.
- Hands-on experience filming and editing reels/short-form video (Instagram, TikTok), with a strong instinct for what performs.
- Solid understanding of marketing principles across both digital and traditional channels.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle several brands and deadlines at once.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Maltese is an advantage).
- A proactive, can-do attitude and the confidence to take ownership of your work.
