Role Overview
Heroix is partnering with a well-established player in the hospitality sector to recruit a Chef de Partie who will take ownership of a designated kitchen section. This role is ideal for a hands-on culinary professional who thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in maintaining high food standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Section Management: Oversee a specific area of the kitchen, ensuring all dishes are prepared and presented in line with established standards.
• Food Preparation: Execute daily food preparation tasks efficiently, maintaining consistency, quality, and attention to detail at all times.
• Quality Control: Monitor ingredients and finished dishes to ensure they meet the required taste, presentation, and hygiene benchmarks.
• Kitchen Operations: Work independently during service while maintaining smooth coordination with the wider kitchen team.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring a clean and organised working environment.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

• Education: Formal culinary training or relevant certification would be considered an asset.
• Experience: Previous hands-on experience within a professional kitchen environment is essential. Experience working with grills is advantageous.
• Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role.
• Communication Skills: Able to clearly convey instructions and collaborate effectively with team members during service.
• Interpersonal Skills: Works well within a team while maintaining a positive and professional attitude under pressure.
• Technical Skills: Strong culinary techniques with a solid understanding of food preparation, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment.
• Organisation: Capable of managing time efficiently, prioritising tasks, and maintaining an orderly workstation.
• Self-Motivated: Demonstrates initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Problem-Solving: Quick to respond to challenges in a fast-paced environment, ensuring minimal disruption to service.
