Role Overview

The Maintenance & Inventory Coordinator will manage workshop inventory, coordinate with suppliers, and support daily maintenance operations. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth running of fleet maintenance processes, maintaining accuracy, and enhancing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of workshop stock and materials, ensuring timely replenishment.
• Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers to order parts and equipment, ensuring delivery schedules align with operational needs.
• Maintenance Support: Assist with day-to-day workshop operations to guarantee efficient maintenance of the fleet.
• Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive documentation for maintenance activities, parts usage, and supplier communications.
• Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities to streamline processes within the workshop to enhance overall productivity.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

• Education: Relevant qualifications in administration or a related field are preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in a workshop or administrative role within a logistics or transport environment is advantageous.
• Driving License: A valid driving license is required.
• Language Skills: Excellent command of both Maltese and English is required to succeed in this role.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication to effectively interact with suppliers, colleagues, and management.
• Interpersonal Skills: Collaborative and professional, able to work effectively within a team environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in computer systems; knowledge of Autoline is preferred.
• Organisation: Highly organised with attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Self-Motivated: Proactive and driven, with the ability to take initiative and work independently when required.
• Problem-Solving: Able to identify challenges and implement practical solutions within workshop operations.
