Role Overview
This position is suited to a driven finance professional and focuses on building strong accounting foundations, improving financial processes, and introducing structured systems that support accurate reporting and informed strategic decision-making at senior level.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Finance Oversight: Manage day-to-day financial operations within standardised, efficient corporate accounting processes.
• Systems & Policy Development: Implement, and maintain financial systems, procedures, and internal controls to strengthen compliance and operational efficiency.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present timely financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and performance insights to support business planning and executive decisions.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Candidates who are currently in their ACCA studies will be considered.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ progressive experience in accounting, including exposure to team leadership and financial systems or process implementation.
• Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.
• Communication Skills: Ability to clearly present financial data and insights to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong leadership approach with the ability to coach, support, and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in accounting systems and tools, with solid understanding of reporting standards, budgeting, and compliance requirements.
• Organisation: Highly structured approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-Motivated: Proactive mindset with a strong drive to improve systems, processes, and overall financial performance.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical ability with a solutions-oriented approach to complex financial and operational challenges.
