Role Overview
The Accounts Clerk - Billing will support the Business with day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate records, handling invoicing processes, assisting with office duties, and providing a high standard of service to clients. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Invoicing Management: Organising and prioritising the timely issuing of invoices.
  • Client Liaison: Processing and responding to invoice-related queries while maintaining excellent client relationships.
  • Ledger Maintenance: Efficiently updating and monitoring customer ledgers to ensure accuracy.
  • Office and Accounting Support: Assisting with general office tasks and accounting duties as required.
  • Compliance Awareness: Keeping updated with relevant legal and regulatory changes affecting the role.
  • Deadline Management: Ensuring all assigned tasks are completed within established timeframes.
  • Client Service: Delivering a consistent and professional service to clients.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

  • Education: Advanced level qualification in Accounts.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within an office or corporate services environment would be considered an asset.
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication abilities, with confidence in handling client queries.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work well within a team and maintain positive professional relationships.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Organisation: Strong organisational abilities with a structured and methodical approach to work.
  • Self-Motivated: Capable of working independently and taking initiative when required.
  • Problem-Solving: Able to handle issues efficiently and provide practical solutions.
