Role Overview
The Warehouse Coordinator will manage and streamline daily warehouse and distribution activities, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality service delivery. This role is central to maintaining operational efficiency, supporting staff, and coordinating the movement of stock from receipt to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Warehouse Management: Supervise the receipt, storage, and distribution of stock using the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Inventory Control: Maintain stock levels, monitor availability, and place orders to guarantee optimal inventory and avoid shortages.
• Order Processing: Oversee order fulfilment from picking and invoicing to delivery and returns, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Logistics Planning: Develop and optimise delivery schedules and routes to maximise efficiency and minimise costs.
• Team Coordination: Support and guide warehouse and logistics personnel to enhance performance and workflow.
• Supplier and Transport Liaison: Collaborate with suppliers and drivers to maintain service standards and operational smoothness.
• Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to health, safety, quality, and security protocols.
• Performance Monitoring: Track key metrics and assist in implementing continuous improvement initiatives across operations.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

• Education: Relevant post-secondary qualification in logistics, supply chain, or a related discipline preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in logistics, warehouse, or distribution operations is essential.
• Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese is an asset.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication to liaise effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and drivers.
• Interpersonal Skills: Team-oriented with the ability to motivate and support colleagues in a collaborative environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in warehouse management systems and basic IT tools relevant to logistics operations.
• Organisation: Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple operational demands simultaneously.
• Self-Motivated: Proactive approach to work with the drive to meet and exceed operational goals.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to resolve operational issues efficiently.
