Role Overview
The Logistics Executive will play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of the logistics function. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this position involves coordinating distribution activities, overseeing warehouse processes, and ensuring that operations remain efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Routing Coordination: Supervise the scheduling of sales orders and ensure that necessary documentation and reports are prepared accurately.
• Stock Replenishment: Monitor and manage timely replenishment for district distribution, direct dispatches, and export orders.
• Team Supervision: Coordinate and guide teams responsible for receiving, picking, cleaning, transporting, replenishing, loading, and stacking inventory to maximise productivity.
• Warehouse Management: Oversee the issuance of receipts, proper storage of imported goods, verification of received stock, and updating of the Warehouse Management System.
• Reporting and Administration: Support basic accounting duties, prepare regular and ad hoc reports, and assist with periodic stock audits.
• Maintenance Oversight: Ensure warehouses, yards, vehicles, and equipment are maintained in good order and maintain accurate records of upkeep activities.
• Supplier Reconciliation: Verify and reconcile invoices and statements from suppliers or service providers to ensure compliance with contractual terms.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead daily continuous improvement sessions to drive process enhancements and operational efficiency.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

• Education: Minimum Ordinary Level standard of education.
• Experience: Previous experience in logistics or warehouse operations is essential.
• Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required; proficiency in Maltese is advantageous.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, including ICT-based reporting and documentation.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate teams effectively.
• Technical Skills: Competent in warehouse management systems and basic office software.
• Organisation: Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail and workflow management.
• Self-Motivated: Proactive approach to tasks and ability to work independently.
• Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with a focus on efficiency, identifying issues, and implementing solutions.
