Role Overview
Heroix is partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit a Sales Manager who will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and strengthening commercial performance. This role will take ownership of sales strategy, pricing discipline, and commercial governance, while leading the sales function to achieve profitable and sustainable results. The successful candidate will work closely with operational teams to ensure alignment between sales commitments and delivery performance.
Key Responsibilities
- B2B Sales Growth & Strategy: Drive B2B revenue growth across the Company’s core products and services by developing and executing robust sales strategies and pipelines.
- Commercial Performance: Maintain ownership of pricing structures, margins, and commercial terms to ensure profitability and consistency across all deals.
- Sales Leadership: Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team, setting clear objectives and ensuring accountability against agreed targets.
- Deal Governance: Approve discounts and oversee commercial negotiations to protect margin and uphold pricing discipline.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations and fulfilment teams to ensure that sales commitments are delivered efficiently and to standard.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on key performance indicators including revenue, margin, pipeline activity, and conversion rates.
- Key Account Support: Actively support strategic accounts and high-value opportunities to strengthen long-term partnerships.
- Process Improvement: Enhance sales processes, forecasting accuracy, and CRM usage to improve efficiency and visibility across the sales function.
Qualifications, Skills and Attributes
- Education: A relevant qualification in business, commerce, or a related field would be considered an asset.
- Experience: Proven experience in a B2B sales or commercial role, with a strong track record of driving revenue and managing profitability.
- Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.
- Communication Skills: Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with internal teams, clients, and senior stakeholders.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate teams and build long-term professional relationships.
- Technical Skills: Commercially astute with strong numerical ability and experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Organisation: Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines.
- Self-Motivated: Results-driven individual with a proactive mindset and the ability to work independently.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to resolve challenges in a structured and pragmatic manner.
