Shop Supervisor (Maltese Speaking)

We are currently seeking a full-time Shop Supervisor (Maltese Speaking) to join our team.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with pride, passion, and energy, who is ready to lead a team and deliver an exceptional shopping experience to our pet-parent clients. This role requires maintaining consistently high standards of customer service while ensuring smooth day-to-day shop operations.

Due to the nature of our products, applicants must be over 20 years of age, and fluency in Maltese is essential.

A pet owner
Knowledgeable about pets and appreciative of their importance within the family
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Flexible, organised, and proactive with a strong sense of responsibility
A team player who can also work independently
Positive attitude
Fluent in both Maltese and English

Job Responsibilities

Ensure the shop is always fully stocked, with all items properly displayed and correctly priced
Assist the Retail Shop Manager in all assigned duties
Stay informed about customer needs, complaints, and suggestions
Collect, check, and reconcile daily cash takings
Maintain a consistently high standard of work and customer service
Demonstrate computer literacy and a friendly yet professional work ethic
Previous retail experience will be considered an asset
Ensure the shop is kept clean and tidy at all times
