Role Overview
Our Client is seeking a motivated Equipment Sales Specialist to drive sales, leasing, and rental of handling solutions, including forklifters and other equipment within the Company portfolio. The role requires providing exceptional customer service and building strong business relationships with clients across multiple industry sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, promoting the Company’s products and services to a wide range of clients.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Proposals & Presentations: Prepare detailed proposals and present findings to clients through meetings and presentations.
- Product Knowledge & Technical Support: Demonstrate a strong understanding of equipment and provide clients with technical guidance and product information.
- Negotiation & Commercial Awareness: Apply commercial awareness and negotiation skills to close deals effectively while representing the Business professionally.
Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
- Education: Post-secondary qualification in Sales, Business Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Relevant experience in sales or commercial roles, preferably with knowledge of handling equipment.
- Driving License: Possession of a driving license. A license to operate forklifts is given preference.
- Language Skills: Excellent command of both Maltese and English is required to succeed in this role.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interactions and presentations.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Technical Skills: Good product knowledge and technical understanding of handling equipment, including forklifters.
- Organisation: Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple clients and projects efficiently.
- Self-Motivated: Proactive, driven, and results-oriented with a strong commercial focus.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions to meet client needs.
