Role Overview
Heroix is collaborating with a well-established organisation in the hospitality industry to recruit a Sales Executive focused on group bookings and MICE segments. This role plays a key part in driving revenue performance through strategic pricing, market analysis, and strong client relationship management, while supporting wider sales and distribution efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Group Sales Management: Manage enquiries for group stays and corporate events, preparing tailored proposals, negotiating terms, and securing bookings in line with revenue objectives.
- Revenue Optimisation: Contribute to revenue growth by applying pricing strategies, analysing booking patterns, and supporting yield management initiatives to balance occupancy and rate performance.
- Market Analysis: Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and demand patterns to identify opportunities and recommend actions that strengthen market positioning.
- Operational Coordination: Oversee all administrative aspects of group bookings, including room allocations, documentation, deposits, and internal communication to ensure seamless execution of guest stays.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain productive relationships with travel partners, agents, and corporate clients, while supporting hosting activities and representing the company professionally.
Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
- Education: A qualification in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in hotel sales, particularly within group bookings or MICE segments, is required.
- Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present offers clearly and professionally.
- Interpersonal Skills: Confident in building relationships and collaborating with both internal teams and external partners.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with hotel systems such as PMS, CRM platforms, and distribution channels, including OTA environments.
- Organisation: Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple requests, deadlines, and priorities effectively.
- Self-Motivated: Driven individual who takes initiative and remains focused on achieving targets and delivering results.
- Problem-Solving: Able to assess situations, identify opportunities, and propose practical solutions that support business objectives.
