We are inviting applicants for Full-Time employment for a Labourer, Digging Grave. role.

We are seeking a reliable Grave Digging Labourer to carry out cemetery ground preparation, including digging and backfilling graves, maintaining cemetery grounds, and assisting with burial services. The role requires physical fitness, respect, professionalism, and adherence to health and safety procedures.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• Dig, prepare, and backfill graves using manual tools and equipment in accordance with cemetery standards.

• Assist with burial and interment activities, ensuring all work is carried out respectfully and professionally.

• Maintain cemetery grounds by clearing debris, performing basic landscaping, and keeping work areas clean and safe.

• Operate and maintain hand tools and equipment safely, reporting any hazards or maintenance issues to the supervisor.

Educational and skill requirements

Applicant Must:

• Be fluent in English and/or Maltese
• Be customer-oriented
• Be willing to learn and work effectively as part of a team
• Have relevant experience in the position applied for
• Only documents in English or Maltese will be accepted.
