

Pasta Chef
Tribelli – Authentic Maltese Cuisine is a restaurant located at Valletta Waterfront, specialising in traditional Maltese dishes, fresh pasta, Mediterranean food, and take-away service.
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Pasta Chef to join our kitchen team. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing pasta dishes, sauces, mise en place, and supporting the take-away pasta section during service.
The role is mostly morning shifts from Monday to Sunday, 10:00am to 5:00pm, with two evening shifts per week — one during the week and one during the weekend. Evening shifts will mainly involve preparing and serving appetizers and supporting the kitchen team where required.
The ideal candidate must be organised, fast, clean, and able to work well under pressure.
- Prepare pasta dishes for dine-in and take-away service
- Prepare sauces, garnishes, and daily mise en place
- Cook and plate pasta dishes during service
- Support appetizer preparation during evening shifts
- Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation
- Follow recipes and kitchen instructions carefully
- Keep the pasta section clean, organised, and well stocked
- Assist with stock rotation and reduce food waste
- Follow hygiene, HACCP, and food safety procedures
- Support the kitchen team during busy service
