Front Desk Associate (Day/Night - Mellieha)

G3 Group is a leading hospitality group based in Mellieħa, Malta, proudly operating The Pergola Hotel & Spa, The Solana Hotel & Spa, and the DOMS Boutique Hotel, and the newly opened VITA Hotel & Rooftop in the heart of St Julian’s, along with a portfolio of bars, restaurants, and wellness centres across the North of Malta.

We are currently seeking a professional and service-driven Front Desk Associate to join our team in Mellieha and contribute to delivering exceptional guest experiences from day one on a full-time basis.

Job Role

The selected candidate will report to the Front Office Manager and will be primarily responsible for ensuring the smooth daily operations of the Front Desk. This will be achieved through strong customer service skills, effective communication, and responsible cash handling. Front Desk Associates (Day/Night) must also adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to meet and exceed organizational objectives. The role follows a roster-based schedule, which includes night shifts.


Areas of Responsibility:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, provide accurate information to guests, and promote the hotel’s services and products.
  • Foster positive interactions with team members and maintain direct communication with the Line Manager.
  • Efficiently carry out standard Front Desk procedures, including check-in/check-out, handling phone and email correspondence, billing and cashiering, night audits, data entry, and general clerical tasks.
  • Maintain a professional, confident, and diplomatic approach in all interactions.
  • Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Line Manager, while fostering an open and trusting work environment with continuous feedback and performance coaching.

Personality, Skills & Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a keen understanding of sales techniques and the ability to handle stressful situations calmly, professionally, and with a customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English; proficiency in additional languages is considered a valuable asset.
  • While prior experience is highly regarded, ambition and passion are the most valued qualities.
