We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher/Cleaner to support our kitchen operations and maintain high hygiene standards.
Brief Position Description
The Dishwasher/Cleaner plays a key role in maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen. The selected candidate will ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, and working areas meet hygiene and safety standards at all times.
This position requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently during busy service periods.
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, surfaces, and storage areas
- Ensure proper waste disposal and recycling procedures
- Support chefs with basic preparation tasks when required
- Follow HACCP and food safety standards
- Maintain organisation of kitchen areas
- Assist during busy service to ensure smooth operations
- Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset (training can be provided)Â
- Basic understanding of hygiene and food safety practices
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
- Responsible, punctual, and reliable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
