

Accounts Clerk
Full Time Accounts Clerk - Must have a solid bookkeeping background
We are currently recruiting candidates for an Accounts Clerk on a full-time basis. The selected candidate would be responsible to assist with the day-to-day bookkeeping affairs of our varied portfolio of clients.
The duties of the Accounts Clerk shall be the undertaking of clerical tasks, such as bookkeeping, filing, handling phone calls and mail. Other duties will include data entry, bank reconciliations, processing payments, controlling credit and debt collection. Should it be required, the selected candidate may also be requested to assist in office administration duties.
Candidates are required to have a moderate level of education in bookkeeping and have experience with using accounting software such as Xero. Knowledge of German are deemed to be an asset.
- Data entry to the various ledgers in Xero
- Assist with bookkeeping queries and bookkeeping specific engagements
- Performance of various analyses as required
- Recording and tracking of foreign purchase orders, and shipping documentation
- Assisting in payables and receivables processing
- Updating sales, expenses and reconciliations in Xero
- Filing
- Proficient with MS Excel and Xero
- Conscientious, hard-working team player with a high level of attention to detail and organisational skills
- 2 or more years accounting- related experience would be ideal but can be a beginner
- Working knowledge of Xero accounting software would be ideal, although training can be provided
- Fluent written and spoken English is a must
- Knowledge of German would be considered as an asset
