Our History
The Inspire foundation is the result of a merger between Eden Foundation and Razzett Tal-Hbiberija – two  leading charities that worked in the field of disability. The two organisations transferred all their resources and employees over to the new foundation, which now provides all the services in a one-stop-shop model avoiding duplication, enhancing service delivery and being more cost effective, leading to long term sustainability and added value.

About the Role
The practitioner shall be responsible for planning and implementing individual or group sessions and activities according to Inspire&rsquo;s established standards. This role includes collaboration with the Programme Manager and other professionals to ensure high-quality standards and best practices are always maintained.

What you'll be doing
<ul>
<li>Ensure a good quality service delivery; working towards and implementing best practice methods depending on the client group, including, but not limited to the TEACCH method and SPELL framework.</li>
<li>Work towards and implement best practice methods that meet NAS Accreditation and ISO certification standards where applicable.</li>
<li>Address parents&rsquo; concerns through appropriate methods of feedback, and to seek advice when necessary.</li>
<li>Provide feedback to parents after the delivery of session/intervention informing them of their child&rsquo;s performance in relation to the objectives being worked on and passing on any resources/recommendations to ensure continuity of care across all settings.</li>
<li>Administer assessments to clients and the development of goals.</li>
<li>Prepare reports and participate in annual reviews for allocated clients.</li>
<li>Develop &lsquo;positive behaviour support plans&rsquo; where applicable and ensure the dissemination of these documents to all relevant stakeholders.</li>
<li>Upkeep of the clients&rsquo; files whilst ensuring that any other forms such as student profiles, weekly and monthly planning sheets, data collection regarding clients&rsquo; performance, client attendances, etc. are completed in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Monitor sessions as part of the ongoing evaluation of the clients&rsquo; progress.</li>
<li>Prepare equipment/materials/resources and the delivery of individual sessions.</li>
<li>Assist colleagues in the preparation for extra-curricular activities and follow recommendations to limit any possible risks.</li>
<li>Follow the roster pertaining to the tidying up of the environment, where applicable.</li>
<li>Carry out supervision of transport when required.</li>
<li>Attend school visits and maintain documentation regarding school visits, IEP&rsquo;s, and MAPS sessions where and as needed.</li>
<li>Keep updated about the curriculum being followed at school and make this accessible to the clients.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Actively participate in all sessions carried out in different environments including the Multisensory Rooms, the pool, the Therapeutic Horseback Riding area amongst others. </li>

Role Requirements
The ideal candidate must be in possession of the following:

<li>A recognized &lsquo;Qualification&rsquo; at MQF Level 3 or higher (minimum of 60 ECTS/ECVET) in health and social care or relevant;</li>
<li>Previous experience within disability field (favor will be given to candidates exposed to Autism Spectrum Disorder/challenging behaviour);</li>
<li>Available to work in the afternoons;</li>
<li>High proficiency in English language (both spoken and written).</li>

General Scope and Purpose of Position

We are currently looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Support Worker on a Part-time casual basis. Our support workers shall be responsible for assisting individuals, promoting engagement in meaningful daily activities, regardless of their abilities. This approach empowers those they support, boosting their confidence and enhancing their independence.






Main duties &amp; responsibilities


 - Work with individuals during their daily participation in activities to ensure their active engagement to the best of their potential.

 - Support individuals during the provision of services in all possible aspects, including feeding needs, hygiene aspects, toileting and changing as well as supporting during transitions.

 - Support the setup of enabling environments to carry out the activities/session plans.

 - Support the preparation of resources when/as required.

 - Support individuals in carrying out activities as recommended.

 - Follow tutors and therapist’s as/when applicable recommendations depending on the SMART goals of each individual.

 - Follow each individuals Behavior Support Plans, Risk Assessments, Sensory Profiles under the guidance of the tutors/therapists.

 - Liase with the team members to ensure that feedback is given according to the groups/ individuals performance and observations.

 - May be required to research and find creative ways in which sessions can be delivered depending on each individual/group’s needs.

 - May be required to assist the tutors/teachers/therapists with delivering sessions in small groups according to the curriculum/activities.
