We are currently looking for a Steward to Join our team with Lifestyle Group.
The Job
- Provide comprehensive cleaning services for all kitchen, Front of House (FOH) & back of house areas, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness in line with the company’s operating procedures & hygiene standards.
- Maintain optimum cleanliness throughout the restaurant & kitchen, strictly adhering to sanitation protocols & food safety guidelines.
- Prepare & set up cleaning equipment daily, ensuring that all tools and materials are ready for use as per the day’s requirements.
- Sanitize kitchens, dining areas & back of house spaces consistently throughout the day to maintain a pristine & safe working environment.
- Follow all Health & Safety (H&S) procedures, including proper handling of cleaning products & strictly adhere to material safety data sheet instructions.
- Ensure cleaning & replenishment of supplies in all areas, including restrooms, dining areas & kitchen stations, maintaining stock levels & hygiene.
- Clean & maintain all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping & other floor care as required.
- Perform rotation cleaning duties such as deep cleaning of assigned areas, including equipment & high-traffic zones, in accordance with a set schedule.
- Follow security protocols to ensure the safety of all staff members while working, adhering to all company safety standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed promptly to the Head Chef or Manager to ensure swift resolution.
- Promote & maintain a climate of friendly cooperation with all team members, contributing to a positive & supportive working environment.
- Avoid wastage of cleaning products, equipment & ancillary amenities provided to guests, using resources efficiently & responsibly.
- Perform any additional ad hoc duties as directed by the Head of Department to support smooth operations and the success of the restaurant.
Job Requirements
- Previous kitchen experience in similar role.
- Given attention to detail and be self-motivated.
- Flexible and ready to work during weekends and public holidays.

- Possess good communication skills.
