Lifestyle Group is bringing the colours, aromas and soul of India near the upcoming Hard Rock Hotel Malta (opening 2026) with the launch of Tanvi and is now looking for a Sous Chef.
đž The Concept
In Sanskrit, Tanvi means âdelicate and gracefulâ and is also an epithet of the goddess Parvati a symbol of beauty, warmth and vitality.
This new restaurant concept will celebrate Indiaâs rich traditions through fragrant curries, sizzling tandoori grills, vibrant dĂ©cor and an atmosphere filled with soul.
đ Your Mission
As Sous Chef, youâll be the right hand of the Head Chef, supporting both pre-opening and daily kitchen operations. Youâll help lead the team, oversee food preparation and consistency, manage stock and suppliers and step up to run the kitchen in the Head Chefâs absence.
Youâll play a key role in training and mentoring junior staff, ensuring the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and efficiency.
đ€ Your DNA
Youâve got solid experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in busy restaurants, ideally with exposure to Indian or international cuisine. Youâre hands-on, organised and calm under pressure. Leadership and teamwork are your strengths and youâre passionate about authentic flavours and great presentation.
Fluent English is a must; extra languages are a plus.
