At Quintano Foods Ltd, we’re investing in growth. As one of Malta’s leading food importers and distributors, we’re expanding our capabilities and scaling up our operations. As such, we are looking for a Sales Manager with the energy, ambition, and leadership to help us get there.
The Opportunity
You’ll lead a team of sales representatives, driving performance, customer relationships, and building great brands across Malta’s retail landscape. This is a role that combines leadership with commercial drive and day-to-day interaction with key retail partners.
- Deliver sales growth, profitability and brand visibility across the ambient portfolio category in line with agreed operational strategies;
- Lead, motivate and coach a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets;
- Develop and strengthen excellent relationships with clients and suppliers
- Analyse data, identify growth opportunities and devise and execute strategic plans that align with brand and business objectives
- Work closely with the Marketing, Procurement, Credit Control and Distribution departments to ensure to maximise sales via an efficient workflow and improved customer service satisfaction.
The Ideal Candidate
- A self-starter with commercial instinct and a drive to push boundaries
- Experience in FMCG sales or account management is an advantage, but energy, ambition, and adaptability are what truly matter
- An excellent communicator and motivator, possessing great written and verbal communication and presentation skills;
- Great at analysing sales data to identify new growth opportunities
- Possess strong leadership and team development skills;
- A relevant University Degree in any subject will be considered an asset.
