Purchasing Clerk

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Purchasing Clerk.

This role will be responsible for processing purchase orders, sourcing goods & services, coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and also liaise with in-house departments for the Logistics of movement.

Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Create & Submit Purchase Orders.
  • Liaise with Suppliers to build relationship to ensure best prices & quality is provided.
  • Communicate with Suppliers to confirm order status,delivery dates and related issues.
  • Monitor delivery costs, shipments & delivery status.
  • Resolve any claims for damaged shipments/materials.
  • Collaborate with other Departments to ensure having a seamless workflow.
  • Provide General Administrative support.
Educational and skill requirements
  • Experience in Purchasing Sector/ or Administrative related.
  • Fluent in both English & Maltese is a Must.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite(Word,Excel,Power Point,Outlook).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks & work under pressure
