As part of its ongoing commitment to driving growth and enhancing operational excellence, Prohealth is looking for a Pharma GMP Labelling and Production Operator, to join our dynamic team.
Job Summary
The Pharma GMP Labelling and Production Operator is primarily responsible for manually labelling pharmaceutical products, operating and supervising labelling machinery, and ensuring all labelling and packaging activities meet GMP standards. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation and assisting with general packing and dispatch tasks as needed.
- Affix labels manually to pharmaceutical items, supplements, and related products.
- Attach Product Information Leaflets (PILs) as part of the packing process.
- Set up, operate, and supervise machinery used for cutting, printing, and labelling.
- Ensure correct batch / expiry-date labels are applied according to production requirements.
- Inspect final products to verify label accuracy, correct placement, and compliance with GMP standards.
- Provide occasional assistance to stores colleagues (packing and dispatch support).
- Accurately complete batch records, labelling logs, and all GMP-related documentation.
- At all times, the employee is to comply with the Company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in order that Good Distribution Practices are maintained throughout the chain of events from importation to distribution.
- Participate in internal audits or quality checks as required.
- Ensure production areas and equipment are maintained to GMP standards of hygiene and readiness.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance GMP knowledge and technical proficiency.
- Any other task as assigned by the Logistics and Premises Manager.
The Candidate must:
- Have a Secondary school leaving certificate.
- Be able to understand and communicate in Maltese and/or English.
- Have basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Possess a clean police conduct.
- Be receptive to constructive feedback and willing to improve performance.
- Show strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling products and labels.
- Be willing to help without being asked and show a good attitude at work.
- Be organized with the ability to follow procedures accurately.
- Show ability to manage time well to complete tasks within deadlines.
- Be comfortable working in a cleanroom or controlled production environment.
- Previous experience in a similar position will be considered an asset.
