

Head Chef

Dee’s currently operates three outlets across Malta and is expanding further, with the launch of a new brand in the coming months. We are seeking a Head Chef to oversee operations at one of our outlets, manage a centralised kitchen, and report directly to the partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations at the assigned outlet
- Create new menus and specials in line with brand guidelines
- Manage food costs, portion control, and minimise wastage
- Standardise recipes, plating, and preparation methods across outlets
- Implement and monitor SOPs to ensure consistency
- Enforce food safety and hygiene standards
- Develop training materials and support staff development
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of pizza, burgers, and pasta
- Excellent leadership, communication, and management skills
- Solid understanding of food cost control
- Ability to create scalable systems for multi-outlet consistency
- Reliable, flexible, and professional attitude
