Head Chef

Dee’s currently operates three outlets across Malta and is expanding further, with the launch of a new brand in the coming months. We are seeking a Head Chef to oversee operations at one of our outlets, manage a centralised kitchen, and report directly to the partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations at the assigned outlet
  • Create new menus and specials in line with brand guidelines
  • Manage food costs, portion control, and minimise wastage
  • Standardise recipes, plating, and preparation methods across outlets
  • Implement and monitor SOPs to ensure consistency
  • Enforce food safety and hygiene standards
  • Develop training materials and support staff development

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of pizza, burgers, and pasta
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and management skills
  • Solid understanding of food cost control
  • Ability to create scalable systems for multi-outlet consistency
  • Reliable, flexible, and professional attitude
