KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Exceptional Guest Experiences
· Take ownership of service delivery in your section to provide exceptional customer experiences, anticipating customers’ needs and making sure service sequences are followed consistently and efficiently.
· Know your menus and recipes in detail, so you and your team can advise customers on ingredients and beverage choices
· Prepare and serve a range of beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, spirits, wines, beers, soft drinks and garnishes, following the bar’s standard recipes
· Create personalised cocktails and mocktails based on customer preferences
· Make sure that food allergies and dietary requirements are treated with absolute seriousness by all Team Members in your section
· Contribute to achieving bar revenue targets through upselling
· Communicate effectively with the service team so that all orders are correct, well-presented and delivered on time.
· Carry out customer satisfaction checks, taking quick action to improve service and resolve complaints, supporting your team where needed.
2. Great Working Environment
· Support, train and develop your team, creating an inclusive environment where all Team Members can thrive.
· Deliver informative and motivational shift briefings, sharing helpful updates and feedback.
· Assign daily work, making sure each Team Member is aware of their responsibilities, and supervising performance during the shift.
3. Day-To-Day Essentials
· Make sure that you and your team strictly comply with all regulations and standards, including health, safety and hygiene.
· Set up your section for service, and make sure that equipment, guest areas and work areas are kept clean and tidy throughout the shift.
· Make sure that all transactions are recorded in the POS system accurately at the time of order, that billing is accurate and that cash handling complies with hotel guidelines.
· Assist in monitoring and restocking inventory.
· Give feedback and suggestions to the Restaurant leadership team to improve guest and team member experiences.

This position is full-time and will require working weekend and/or evening shifts.
Position requirements also include being able to stand throughout the shift and the ability to lift and carry moderate weights.
