Cleaner

A Cleaner is responsible for maintaining clean, tidy, and hygienic workspaces, buildings, and facilities. The role involves cleaning different areas, using cleaning equipment and products safely, and following health and safety standards.

We are looking for a cleaner who takes real pride in the little things and plays a key role in ensuring our pottery and restaurant remain spotless, hygienic, and well-presented for our guests.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning of public areas, offices, back-of-house spaces, restrooms, restaurants, and bars overnight.
• Vacuum, mop, dust, polish, and sanitise surfaces to required standards.
• Deep clean areas not possible during daytime service hours.
• Replenish supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials where required.
• Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report maintenance issues or hazards identified during night shifts.
• Support with waste management and recycling processes.
• Work discreetly and professionally in member and guest-facing areas.

Educational and skill requirements:

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Reliability, discretion, and a professional attitude.
• Flexibility to weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
