
Chef de Partie (Part-Time)
We are a long-established, family-run traditional Maltese restaurant seeking a Part-Time Chef de Partie to join our kitchen brigade of experienced chefs. This role is ideal for a passionate professional who values quality, consistency, and teamwork in a well-organised, reputable kitchen environment.

Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the restaurant’s established quality standards

Manage and operate a designated kitchen section efficiently

Assist with food preparation (mise en place) and service during busy periods

Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards

Collaborate closely with senior chefs and kitchen team members

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations and equipment

Assist with stock control and minimise food waste

Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role

Knowledge of Mediterranean / traditional cuisine preferred

Ability to work well under pressure in a team-based kitchen

Good organisational and time-management skills

Awareness of food safety and hygiene regulations

Culinary qualification is an asset but not essential with experience
