

Chef/Sous Chef
Tapea is a contemporary Spanish restaurant located in St. Julian’s, Malta, offering a modern interpretation of traditional Spanish gastronomy.
We are looking for a motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. The role is ideal for a cook with experience who wants to work with quality ingredients and develop their skills in Spanish cuisine.
You will work closely with the head chef and the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and consistent quality in every dish.
• Prepare and cook dishes according to the restaurant standards
• Maintain high levels of food quality and presentation
• Organise your section during service
• Support the kitchen team in daily preparation and mise en place
• Ensure hygiene and food safety standards are followed
• Maintain a clean and organised workstation
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen
• Basic knowledge of Mediterranean or Spanish cuisine is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to speak Spanish and English
