

Audit Team Leader
Meliteh Recruiting is seeking a motivated and experienced Audit Team Leader to join our client’s team on a full-time basis in Malta.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, overseeing audit teams, and fostering positive client relationships.
This role is ideal for an individual with leadership experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality audit services.
• Assisting the Audit Leader and Senior Team Leader in managing a portfolio of clients from various industries
• Cultivating and maintaining professional relationships with clients throughout the audit process, acting as the primary point of contact for inquiries and feedback
• Directing, coaching, and mentoring the audit team to ensure efficient and effective delivery of audit engagements
• Planning audits and overseeing their execution, ensuring compliance with standards and deadlines
• Promoting open communication, collaboration, and teamwork within the audit team
• Conducting performance reviews of junior audit staff and providing constructive feedback to foster their development
• University degree or ACCA qualified
• 3-4 years of relevant work experience in auditing
• At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role, managing a team
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
• Competence in using standard office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office)
