Our shelves are higher than standard to make it easier to pick your items and to ensure that we can keep enough stocks on display. We also offer a number of services such as delivery and free two-hour parking at our Portomaso store for customers who spend over €15.

Stacker and Delivery Driver (Gozo)

We are seeking to recruit a Stacker and Delivery Driver to join our Foodstores Team in Gozo. The selected candidates will report to the Foodstore Manager/ Supervisor and will be responsible for shelving stock and for delivering goods to customers.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Ensuring there are adequate levels of stock on display to maximise sales.
Submitting orders electronically and forwarding to the Duty Manager for approval.
Liaising with suppliers to ensure products are procured and delivered on time.
Liaising with suppliers to ensure returns are collected.
Maintaining cleanliness on shelves and keeping them well-organized.
Maintaining high quality customer interaction.
Being a team player and assisting colleagues where needed.
Responsible for company van ensure it is in good working condition and adequately clean at all times.

Driving to and from delivery destinations.
Loading and unloading of all merchandise which may include heavy lifting of packages.
Reporting any discrepancies or damages on goods to the Food Stores Manager
Observing speed limits and obeying all road signs
Keeping driving records (i.e. mileage and gas receipts).
Performing simple vehicle maintenance (i.e. cleaning interior and exterior, taking vehicle for state inspections, filling tires with air, etc.).
Informing supervisor of any vehicle problems.
Maintain high quality customer interaction.
Interacting with customers to obtain payment, signatures and giving receipts.
Greet and assist customers with their requirements, and offer assistance and suggestions.
