Head of Maintenance

Zzzing’s Head of Maintenance leads the strategic oversight and execution of all maintenance operations across a diverse and rapidly expanding portfolio of 360+ holiday homes, boutique guesthouses, and hotels. Our selected talent will have extensive experience, strong drive, an eye for quality, and a relentless commitment to excellence, ensuring every property in our collection meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive, customized maintenance schedules and plans, incorporating both preventive and reactive maintenance strategies to proactively address potential issues and respond effectively to unexpected repairs.
• Oversee maintenance activities across multiple sites to ensure consistent high standards of guest comfort, safety, and operational efficiency.
• Manage maintenance budgets and expenditures, optimize resource allocation, and negotiate contracts with service providers to achieve cost efficiencies.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with hospitality-specific health, safety, and regulatory requirements and standards.
• Manage reactive maintenance processes to quickly and effectively respond to urgent repair needs, minimizing downtime and impact on guests.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of leadership experience in hospitality or property management maintenance roles, ideally managing multi-site maintenance operations.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills in managing diverse maintenance personnel across large portfolios.
• Practical knowledge of hospitality building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
