Sous Chef

Job Specifications:

  • Assist the head chef in all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and quality control
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented according to franchise standards
  • Supervise kitchen staff and maintain a positive and productive work environment
  • Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Assist in training new kitchen staff members

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a sous chef or in a similar role in a restaurant or franchise setting
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Certification in food safety and sanitation is preferred
