Restaurant Supervisor

Location: La Sorpresa Restaurant & Pizzeria, Bugibba

La Sorpresa is a traditional trattoria and pizzeria located in the heart of Bugibba. We are seeking a confident and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team and oversee day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, deep knowledge of food and beverage service, and a hands-on approach to hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction
• Lead and motivate front- and back-of-house teams during busy shifts
• Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and overall guest experience
• Handle bookings, floor planning, stock control, and supplier communication
• Train new staff members and monitor performance
• Oversee end-of-day procedures, cash handling, and reporting
• Support marketing efforts and service improvements in collaboration with the operations manager

Requirements:

• Currently based in Malta
• Resides near Bugibba or has reliable transport
• Skill Pass certification is required
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager in a similar dining concept
• Strong knowledge of wine and cocktails is required
• Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
• A passion for training and developing team members is considered an asset

Working Hours:

• Full-Time, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
