Shop Supervisor

Skunju Market in Żurrieq is looking for a dedicated and reliable Supervisor to join our team. The Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow, maintaining high standards of customer service, and supporting the management team in achieving business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations across departments.

• Ensure excellent customer service and handle client queries or concerns.

• Monitor staff performance and provide guidance or support when needed.

• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and operational standards in the market.

• Assist with stock control, including monitoring inventory and supporting restocking processes.

• Prepare basic daily reports and communicate with management regarding operations.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory or retail/market role is an asset.

• Strong organizational and leadership skills.

• Customer-focused attitude with excellent communication skills.

• English speaking is required; Maltese is considered an asset.

• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively.

Working Hours

• Rotating shifts: 06:00 – 13:00 and 13:00 – 19:00.

• Sundays and Public Holidays: 06:00 – 12:00.

• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays is essential.
