AMSM is looking to recruit a Shipping and Procurement Officer on a full-time basis within our Commercial Department.&nbsp;

AMSM operates in the sales, distribution and marketing of the best brands in Malta. We are present in all supermarkets, grocers and homes with over 200 brands. Located in a purpose-built premises, we have one of the most forward looking operations on the island, including three temperature controlled stores, a gym, child-care centre and staff canteen. <li>Calculating and placing orders with our suppliers</li>
<li>Daily interaction with our suppliers to monitor the status of our orders and any issues that may arise</li>
<li>Preparing and maintaining purchasing reports, records and updated price lists</li>
<li>Calculating order costs and evaluating proforma invoices for accuracy</li>
<li>Ensuring that the product inventory is always up to date</li>
<li>Working closely with the Sales, Warehouse &amp; Accounts Departments</li>

Main tasks and responsibilities

<li>Advanced Level of Education</li>
<li>Able to communicate well in English and Maltese.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications &ndash; especially Microsoft Excel.</li>
<li>Candidates with&nbsp;experience in a similar role&nbsp;will be given preference.</li>
<li>A team player with strong interpersonal skills, organisation skills and able to work towards deadlines</li>
