Ship Registration Finance Clerk
Fenech & Fenech Marine Services Ltd., one of the largest ship registration service providers in Malta and a leading branch of Fenech & Fenech Advocates, specialising in Malta flag registrations of all types of vessels from yachts to cruise liners and all other types of commercial vessels, is looking to recruit a Ship Registration Finance Clerk.
The successful chosen candidate will form part of a dynamic team that handles a predominantly international clientele operating across a wide range of industries as well as the firm’s private clients. The role is therefore ideal for someone who wishes to broaden their experience and take on a challenge.
Main tasks and responsibilities
General responsibilities will include:
- Organising and prioritising the issuing of bills
- Debt collection
- Issue of relevant invoices and chasing settlement
- Processing and liaising with clients, in connection to invoice-related queries
- General assistance within the shipping department (such as release of vessel and crew certification, filing and archiving)
Educational and skill requirements
Requirements of the ideal candidate:
- A’ Level standard of education
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook
- Well organised, accurate and able to work under pressure
- Excellent written and spoken Maltese and English
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Previous experience in an administration/secretarial role will be considered as an asset.
