Koperattiva Produtturi tal-Ħalib Group Ltd. (KPH), which is the Dairy Farmers’ Cooperative, was established in June 1958 in order to bring together all the dairy producers in Malta and Gozo to further promote their interests and increase their competitive advantage.
Over the years KPH has been a leader in several agricultural activities, which include grain and feed importation, feed manufacturing, farm supplies, and support services, milk processing, and the production and distribution of the well-known Benna fresh milk products. Considerable investments throughout the years enabled the Cooperative to evolve. Members started expanding their activities penetrating and sustaining vital sectors within the local dairy and agricultural industry.

Sales Representative
JOB PURPOSE
Malta Dairy Products is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to grow our presence in the HORECA and retail sectors. The role focuses on expanding market reach, strengthening customer relationships, and keeping MDP products a top choice across Malta. While centered on HORECA, it may also support other sales channels as needed.
Main tasks and responsibilities
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Grow sales performance across the HORECA and assigned key clients, driving the success of MDP’s full product range.
- Develop and manage relationships with chefs, purchasing managers, retailers, and key account stakeholders.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities, ensuring strong market penetration and customer retention.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets, supported by structured planning and proactive territory management.
- Ensure product quality and stock rotation, coordinating closely with the Distribution team.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity, providing valuable insights to support business strategy.
- Support promotional activities, tastings, and merchandising initiatives in collaboration with Marketing.
- Represent the MDP brand with professionalism, maintaining the highest standards of service and integrity.
- Provide occasional support to other sales areas as required by operational needs.
Educational and skill requirements
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS
- Proven experience in FMCG sales, ideally within the food, beverage, or dairy industry.
- Strong knowledge of the Maltese HORECA landscape.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills in Maltese and English.
- Highly motivated, organised, and target-driven, with the ability to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Clean driving licence: own transport considered an asset.
