Sale Representative

Role purpose

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Sales Representative to join our team in the renewable energy sector. The ideal candidate will identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions, helping clients transition to clean energy while achieving sales targets and maintaining high customer satisfaction.


Principal Accountabilities

1. Primary Duties

  • Discover and assess customer needs, offering tailored renewable energy solutions.
  • Deliver compelling presentations on the benefits of our renewable energy products and services.
  • Objectively address customer objections with a focus on closing sales.
  • Advise clients on upcoming product developments and special promotions.
  • Prepare and provide accurate quotations, sales orders, and informational product literature.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective customers at their convenience.
  • Respond promptly to incoming inquiries via email, phone, or walk-ins.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and product demonstrations.
  • Report market trends and customer feedback to the Sales Manager.
  • Monitor and review personal sales performance with the aim of exceeding targets.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and training, sharing best practices with peers
  • Follow direction as assigned by the Company and Sales Manager.

2. General Duties

  • Attend the company showroom to support clients in their purchasing decisions.
  • Assist with documentation to support client applications to relevant authorities.
  • Forward product or service feedback through appropriate channels.
  • Support Customer Support Agents in resolving client queries.
  • Collect and analyse post-installation customer feedback.

3. Quality Assurance

  • Support the retention of ISO accreditations by ensuring adherence to quality standards and internal procedures.

4. Teamwork and Collaboration

  • Collaborate with team members to maintain operational efficiency, cover absences, and manage periods of high workload.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the renewable energy or technology sectors.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy solutions is a plus (training provided).
