Water’s Edge is looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to lead our restaurant operations and ensure an exceptional experience for every guest.

We are seeking a confident hospitality professional with strong leadership skills, excellent organisational abilities and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
• Lead, motivate and manage the restaurant team.
• Ensure consistently high standards of food, beverage and customer service.
• Manage staff schedules, duties and daily allocations.
• Monitor service quality and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Handle customer feedback, enquiries and complaints professionally.
• Train, coach and develop team members.
• Monitor stock levels, ordering and minimise wastage.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health and safety and company procedures.
• Monitor operational costs and assist in achieving sales and profitability targets.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth service.
• Manage opening and closing procedures.
• Assist management with operational planning and the implementation of company standards.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Good knowledge of restaurant operations and service standards.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Excellent command of English; knowledge of Maltese or other languages is considered an asset.
• Flexibility to work shifts, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
