The Wow

As a Product Owner for Sportsbook (Mobile Apps), you will be part of a team leading the development of our industry-leading mobile apps for iOS and Android! In this role, you will be assigned product responsibility for a development stream and take the lead on key initiatives on the product roadmap. You will work closely with engineering teams, stakeholders, and the wider product organisation in order to continuously improve our Sportsbook apps and the player experience.

A taster of what you will be involved with:

• Act as the voice of the customer throughout the product development process.
• Actively lead or participate in product discovery activities (such as identifying user needs, requirements gathering, scoping and solution design).
• Produce detailed product specifications in the form of user stories with detailed acceptance criteria (functional and non-functional), complemented by visual aids where relevant.
• Clearly inform engineering teams about the work that is prioritised and why, so that they are motivated to build optimal solutions.
• Provide the necessary product support to the engineering teams as may be required to aid their delivery, including active participation in agile ceremonies.
• Actively support roadmap planning and manage deliveries from start to end, including active co-ordination with stakeholders and other teams as and when required.
• Ensure that the product development backlog is properly organised, prioritised, and kept up to date.
• Contribute to the product vision, and champion this vision with stakeholders and the engineering teams.
• Communicate product status, progress, and upcoming milestones to stakeholders.
• Hold effective presentations (including demos and trainings) with stakeholders for new product concepts and releases as and when required.
• Ensure that effective KPIs and data collection mechanisms are in place to understand product performance.
• Ensure that relevant product documentation and wikis are well maintained.
• Perform user acceptance testing of new product releases (or ensure co-ordination of).

Good If you Have

• 2+ years of working experience as a product owner or product manager with digital, customer facing products (preferably native apps).
• Strong user experience sensibilities and familiarity with UI best practices.
• Highly skilled and experienced in collecting requirements and producing product specifications.
• Experience in the use of data, research, and testing to drive product development.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

Even Better If you Have

• Prior working experience in the gaming industry.
• Experience as a Product Owner on Sportsbook or Platform.
• A technical background in software engineering.
• Deep understanding of Sportsbook mechanics, betting markets, odds management, and live sports experiences.
• Familiarity with functional and non-functional KPIs.
• Experience working with geographically distributed development teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organisational, planning and project management skills.
• Good presentation skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
