Maintenance Manager

As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of all maintenance activities, including both in-house and contracted works. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the smooth operation of all contracted maintenance services, proactively adjusting schedules and priorities as required.
• Providing clear instructions and guidance to maintenance teams, ensuring efficient and effective execution of tasks.
• Regularly reporting on the progress of maintenance projects and communicating effectively with other Heads of Departments (HODs) and management regarding any operational impacts.
• Developing and implementing detailed plans and timelines for both in-house and contracted maintenance projects.
• Authorizing purchase orders and invoices for materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness by evaluating quotes for best prices.
• Verifying the quality of materials and contracted work to maintain the highest standards.
• Ensuring the correct functioning of all building systems.

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a similar Maintenance Manager position.
• Higher Technician Diploma (HTD) level of technical education or equivalent qualification.
• Valid Local License A and B.
• Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary HVAC and ELV systems.
• Strong understanding of building maintenance best practices.
