

LMC (Line Maintenance Controller) Engineer

LMC ENGINEER (LINE MAINTENANCE CONTROLLER)
Our client is a dynamic ACMI and wet-lease airline delivering ad-hoc passenger, cargo and charter aviation solutions. The copmany operates with full crews, aircraft and insurance under EASA standards, providing flexible, high-quality capacity when airlines need it.
You will manage maintenance operations on a shift basis to ensure the safe and efficient performance of aircraft equipment and systems.
Serve as the primary point of contact while providing real-time updates on maintenance activities and operational status. Coordinate communication between the maintenance team and other relevant departments to ensure timely issue resolution and compliance with safety standards, operational guidelines, and company procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintenance Coordination & Support
- Coordinate maintenance, tooling, and parts support for all maintenance activities with maintenance contractors
- Provide sufficient turnover to on-coming personnel ensuring familiarity with all work in progress and items requiring follow-up
Technical Guidance & Decision Making
- Provide technical guidance to maintenance personnel
- Available for consultation and decisions on technical, operational, and procedural matters
- Analyze problem areas and recommend corrective action through technical interaction with maintenance contractors and other departments
Problem Analysis & Resolution
- Identify chronic aircraft problems and develop detailed action plans for their repair
- Review maintenance reports and identify potential operational impacts
- Work with management to develop and implement effective action plans
Communication & Documentation
- Maintain a shift turnover log of all communications pertaining to out-of-service aircraft and critical or damage events
- Document aircraft worked during shift
- Brief MCC Manager and above on status of all aircraft in work on shift
Field Support
- Travel with aircraft to gather additional information on aircraft problems as required
- Provide on-site technical support when needed
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, operational guidelines, and company procedures
- Maintain adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, OR Aircraft Part 66 license with additional relevant qualifications
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems and maintenance procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proficiency in maintenance documentation and reporting systems
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a CAMO environment
- Airbus A330 and/or A320 experience is considered an asset
- Experience in line maintenance operations preferred
