Junior Sous Chef

MG Group Malta is looking for an ambitious and talented Junior Sous Chef to join our culinary team.

MG Group operates some of Malta's most renowned dining destinations, including Caviar & Bull, Caviar & Bull Valletta, Sole by Tarragon, and Don Royale.

Working closely with our Head Chef and Sous Chef, you will play a key role in the daily operation of our kitchen, supporting the team in delivering exceptional food quality and service standards within our award-winning restaurants.

Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef, Chef de Partie, or in a similar role
  • Experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant environment is highly desirable
  • Excellent knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety standards
  • Strong understanding of food and beverage offerings
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support kitchen team members
  • Strong and outgoing personality
  • Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Good command of spoken English
