Host/Waiter

We’re Hiring at Wigi’s Kitchen — Host/Waiter Position

Wigis Kitchen is looking for a Waiter/Waitress with strong Host skills to join our team.

This is not a simple waiting role – We are looking for someone who can take charge of a section of the floor and offer an exceptional experience from the moment guests walk in.

We’re looking for someone who can:

• Welcome guests in a warm & professional manner
• Present the menu confidently and explain the specials of the day
• Food and beverage knowledge are required
• Upsell food and drinks naturally
• Open and serve wine professionally
• Handle the bar when needed
• Take bookings over the phone and organize the flow of the restaurant
• Be able to fillet a fish (or be willing to learn)

Contract type:

• We are open to part-time or full-time positions
• Most shifts will be evening shifts
• We do not open on Sundays, and we are closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Year’s Eve
