

Field Sales Support
JOB PURPOSE
The Field Representative role brings together in‑store execution with selected sales‑related responsibilities, ensuring strong support across retail operations while also contributing to key sales activities when required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Participate in targeted sales initiatives assigned by the Business Development Department
2. Support Sales Representatives by ensuring shelves are properly stocked, displays are aligned with planograms, and products are retail‑ready.
3. Suggest stock replenishment based on product movement.
4. Provide in‑store insights (pricing checks, competitor comparisons, customer comments).
5. Assist in basic customer feedback or queries relating to MDP products and/or services, escalating more complex matters to the Business Development Department.
6. Ensure products are correctly displayed according to planograms, brand guidelines, and promotional standards.
7. Carry out routine checks on stock rotation, expiry dates, product availability, and shelf condition.
8. Occasionally assist in transporting of products to and from customers on behalf of the QA Team.
9. Monitor fridge temperatures and product freshness where applicable.
10. Maintain high-quality in‑store displays, signage, and promotional materials.
11. Support specific events and tasting promotion setups when required.
12. Collect data consistently, including:
· stock levels and product movement
· competitor pricing, placements, and promotions
· visibility of MDP products
· out‑of‑stock situations
· retailer feedback on product range
· information on new potential clients (e.g., newly opened outlets, new store owners, or newly acquired accounts)
· information on existing clients, such as changes in ordering patterns, product performance, feedback, concerns, or opportunities to expand the product range
13. Submit accurate daily or weekly reports containing quantitative and qualitative data gathered from outlets.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS
1. Full Time (Flexible working days: Monday to Saturday)
2. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar FMCG merchandising role.
3. Fluent in both Maltese and English.
4. Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel for reporting, Word for documentation)
5. Familiarity with planograms and product display standards.
6. Outgoing, detail-oriented, with strong organisational skills.
7. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team.
8. Physically fit, with the ability to lift and move milk crates.
9. Must have a valid Driving License category B and use of own car.
