

Corporate and Compliance Executive
We are seeking to recruit a Corporate and Compliance Executive to support the Company Secretary and Compliance function across three public listed companies and their subsidiaries.
The role will play a key part in strengthening governance structures, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing effective frameworks in line with statutory and capital markets requirements. Working alongside the existing Company Secretariat Executive responsible for company secretarial administration, this position will focus on compliance oversight while also providing support in meeting coordination, minute taking, and general company secretariat duties. The role will further contribute to process optimisation and sustainable governance initiatives in line with the organisation’s lean, green, and digital strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of compliance and governance frameworks across the three plc entities and their subsidiaries.
- Ensure adherence to the Companies Act, Capital Markets Rules, MFSA requirements, and other applicable regulations.
- Maintain compliance registers, policies, and procedures to ensure effective oversight.
- Prepare and review compliance reports, governance documentation, and Board materials.
- Provide support in meeting organisation, minute taking, and general company secretarial tasks as required.
- Liaise with regulators, advisors, and auditors on compliance-related matters.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and strengthen compliance effectiveness.
- Support the digitalisation of records and the promotion of sustainable governance practices.
- Contribute to internal compliance awareness and training initiatives.
Requirements
- A qualification in a related field at MQF Level 4 or higher.
- Sound knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach, with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple entities.
- Familiarity with digital tools and an interest in sustainable business practices will be considered an asset.
