Banqueting Supervisor

As a Banqueting Supervisor within the food and beverage department you are expected to fully uphold company standards whilst also providing excellent service to our guests.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Constantly follow function sheets (BEO'S) issued by Sales Department for new or existing events.
Planning Set-ups and dismantling conference halls accordingly to the weekly event schedule.
Oversee the preperation of equipment, glassware, crockery and cutlery required for each event.
Prepare Menus, food labelling and signane as per function sheets.
Communicate and coordinate with other departments such as Kitchen, Housekeeping and Maintenance to ensure all requests are catered for.
Responsible of the coordination, cleaning and organising of banqueting equipment and storage areas.
Communicate, coordinate and delegate tasks to team members working the events/functions.
Organise briefings and de-briefings.
Engage with clients to ensure that requests are fully met and exceeded.
Assisting other food and beverage areas and shifts as per business requirements.
Any Additional ad-hoc duties requested by your superior.
