Accounts Clerk

Main tasks and responsibilities

Invoicing: Issuing & posting of sales & purchase invoices in an accurate & timely manner.

Credit Control: Conducting credit control & debtor follow-ups via telephone & email to support timely payments & minimise overdue balances.

Reconciliations: Performing regular bank & supplier reconciliations to ensure accuracy & data integrity.

Data Entry: Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records within the company’s accounting software.

Administrative Support: Assisting with general office duties, filing, & other ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.

Educational and skill requirements

·         Able to follow processes, has attention to detail and is consistently well-organised.

·         Trustworthy & responsible with handling confidential documentation.

Qualifications, Work Experience and Requirements:

·         Basic understanding of accounting & bookkeeping principles is required.

·         Previous experience in a similar clerical role is considered an asset.

·         Strong communication skills for professional debt collection follow-ups & financial queries.

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook & Office tools.

·         Familiarity with Xero will be considered an asset.

·         Fluent in English, including written expression.
