Truck Driver

JLR Construction is seeking to employ a Truck Driver due to increase in projects.

We are looking for a Truck Driver to transport material such as sand, gravel, concrete, steel, and other necessary supplies to and from construction sites. Loading and Unloading: Assist with the safe loading and unloading of materials, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads. Vehicle Maintenance: Inspect and maintain the truck to ensure it is in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues or repairs needed promptly. Safety Compliance: Adhere to road safety rules and construction site safety protocols. Ensure materials are transported safely without risk of spills or accidents. Coordination: Communicate with site supervisors and dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules and any changes. Site Support: Occasionally assist with minor construction tasks or operate machinery, depending on the driver's qualifications. Requirements: Valid Driver’s License: Appropriate license category C for operating large construction trucks. Experience: Prior experience in operating other construction vehicles is often preferred

Responsibilities:

Transport: building materials
Check condition and function of machine, position machines in accordance with processes
Set up route according to delivery requirements. Check documents (timetables, order form...)
Determine route according to specifications of the vehicle, cargo and terms of delivery (priorities)
Drive a specific vehicle: Truck/lorry weighing more than 7.5 tons
