Site Foreman

JLR Construction Ltd. is a leading entity in the local construction industry. As part of our expansion strategy, we are offering an employment opportunity for a Site Foreman. The chosen candidate should prove to have at least 3 years experience (solid background) in the position desired as he/she will be a key person for the completion of the project assigned to him/her.

Reporting to and assisting the Director, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Be a point of reference for the site workers
• Leading a team of workers and performing different duties, including Shuttering, brick laying and steel fixing.
• Reading and understanding construction plans.
• Any other duties commensurate with the level of this post, as may be assigned from time to time.
• Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans.
• Supervise use of machinery and equipment.
• Guarantee all safety precautions and standards are met.
  
  

The ideal candidate should be

• Able to work independently to deliver work in a timely and effective manner.
• Conversant in both the English language as well as Maltese.
• To be able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
